Wade Day's last trip to Bristol Motor Speedway was bittersweet.  As the USAR Pro Cup Series was closing out its regular season, a return to the home track  promised to be an exciting event.  Just a couple laps into practice, the engine let go, forcing the crew to spend the entire first practice session replacing it with an engine they pulled out of the backup car.  A great team effort allowed Wade to hit the track right at the start of the practice session.

In qualifying, Wade captured the pole, just beating out fellow local racer Caleb Holman.  The car was fast, but Wade became victim of some early aggressive racing as he was knocked into the wall, ending his night.  Caleb Holman went on to capture the win.

Saturday night marks the rematch as both Wade and caleb return to Bristol, this time in their late models for the UARA-Stars event which closes out a day of racing at the famed half mile track on the NASCAR race weekend.

Wade will start from the 21st position in the 83 car out of the thirty six car field.   Wade was third fast in practice.
